Thanks to my mother's persistence and a local antique shop's diligence, I now have a really big bread bowl. You can see from the picture just how big it is, when compared to my laptop and cell phone. Now I should have no worries about my sourdough starter trying to escape or my wheat bread trying to take over the world!

Really big bowl
Thanks to my mother's persistence and a local antique shop's diligence, I now have a really big bread bowl. You can see from the picture just how big it is, when compared to my laptop and cell phone. Now I should have no worries about my sourdough starter trying to escape or my wheat bread trying to take over the world!

Wow- my mom used to make bread in a bowl exactly like that!
So did mine (and me, when I started baking), and that's why I wanted one. The one I used at home, however, was not big enough to bathe a baby in, as this one is!
